On Sunday, August 4th at 10:00 am, I will be leading a short walking tour of the locations that hosted the founding meeting of the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF), the main event of my recent graphic novel, 1st Legion of Utopia. We will meet beside the No. 1 Royal Canadian Legion (116 7 Ave SE). The walk will probably take about 45 minutes and we will end up back at the Legion. Copies of my book will be available for $15 cash.This event is part of Historic Calgary Week.
